What is a Judy Center?
We work to support families with children from birth through age 5. Funded by the Maryland State Department of Education and operated in partnership with Cecil County Public Schools, we offer a wide range of services designed to promote school readiness and lifelong learning.
Playgroups: These free 60 minute sessions blend movement, music, and hands-on exploration to support developmental growth. They are offered 4 times a week at Holly Hall Elementary School and once a week at the Family Education Center (200 Road B Hollingsworth Manor).
Family Support Services: Our Family Service Coordinators can help connect you to our community resources/ partners to make connections and achieve your goals.
Community Events: Please stop by and say hello when you see us at a community event. We would love to connect with your family.
School Readiness Focus: The Judy center offers parent workshops, family engagement events, and mindfulness, to help build foundational skills for school success.
Embedded in Local Schools: The Cecil County Judy Center serves families in 9 of our local elementary schools. Holly Hall is a proud Judy Center Early Learning Hub.
